One of the many orange/ginger cats in the feral colony. During a non-rainy day, it's nice to relax in the grass and just sort of keep an eye on things. A kitty likes to know what's going on, you know? Being near the barn and area light, this is a relatively safe location even at night. But with a little sun, it's an even better place to rest and watch the comings and goings of domestic animals, people and the other cats.
If you watch long enough, though, it becomes somewhat exhausting. There's only so much observing that a kitty can do! But we try....
In the end, though, one must rest. Next to having food, naps are one of the best things ever - don't you think?
